Horizonte de sentidos de la Cátedra Abierta Latinoamericana y Caribeña EPJA

Abstract

The results presented by Cátedra Abierta Latinoamericana y Caribeña EPJA, promoted from the Master’s degree in Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos (EPJA) of Ecuador’s Universidad Nacional de Educación, in close collaboration with the International Cooperation Institute of the German Association for Adult Education (DVV International), aims to socialize the processes followed since its creation, in order to strengthen the youth and adult education in the region by opening spaces for dialogue. The progress achieved a year after its creation is presented, which implies its institutional framework, the development of conferences by prestigious specialists in this field, not only from the contributions that are socialized, but on how to proceed in the practical implementation done by the teachers, the development of bridges of dialogue and exchange through different networks in the Region, and its extension in the substantive functions of teaching, research and linkage that the university develops.
